Rosie the Riveter Trust is delighted to host an in person meet and greet with Rosie Mae Krier from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4:00 - 5:30 PM Pacific Time at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond, California. Krier is a real-life Rosie the Riveter — one of about 5 million civilian women who served in the defense industry and elsewhere in the commercial sector during World War II, according to the U.S. Department of Defense. The women took the vacated jobs of men who joined the military and went abroad to fight. (Washington Post, July 21, 2020) She is joining us before heading off to Pearl Harbor with Rosie Marian Wynn for the 80th Commemoration (you can donate to this trip here - scroll down to the trip section). Tickets are $25 each and include a Rosie Goodie Bag; this will help offset event expenses. Guests must show proof of vaccine or negative Covid test results within 72 hours of time of the event.
